​Training Schedule for Prospective Operators of Family Child Care Homes

Times of the training listed below are as follows:

    • Western Region: Pittsburgh, Johnstown, Erie; 1-3:30 p.m. 
    • Northeast Region: Scranton; 10 a.m.-noon 
    • Central Region: Harrisburg: 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and Selinsgrove: 1-3:30 p.m.
    • Southeast Region: Philadelphia; 9:00 a.m.-noon or 1-4 p.m.

PREREQUISITE FOR FAMILY CHILD CARE HOMES ORIENTATION

Anyone who registers for Family Child Care Home in-person orientation must first complete the online portion of the orientation within the previous year.  You will NOT be admitted to the in-person session without proof of completion of the online session (no exceptions).

More Information

    • You cannot attend any in-person session unless you are pre-registered.
    • If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will not receive a certificate of attendance.
    • IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND, PLEASE CALL THE APPROPRIATE OFFICE TO CANCEL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO THAT OTHERS MAY ATTEND.
    • Please make appropriate child care arrangements for your children.  This will allow for you and other participants to be fully attentive during the session.  Anyone who is not participating in the orientation may not remain in the classroom or on the floor.
