Temporary Changes to 811 Project Rental Assistance (PRA) Program

Please see below for an important message regarding temporary modifications to the 811 PRA program: 

Dear 811 partners, 

I hope this finds you well. In response to COVID- 19, we're adapting by making the following temporary changes to the 811 PRA program, until further notice:

• Applicants who cannot or do not feel safe moving into a unit at this time will not be penalized for declining the unit; rather it will be seen as a reasonable cause and will not count as one of their 3 declines.
• Many properties are closing offices or are not currently moving applicants into vacant units at this time; no one will be penalized for these closures/delays.
• In those areas that property offices are still operating, we will move forward with the program until we are otherwise notified.
• We will post on the 811 webpage and notify the Nursing Home Transition Coordination Agencies (NHTCAs) via the NHTCA ListServ if the program is put entirely on hold in the coming days.
