DHS COVID-19 PROVIDER GUIDANCE // ODP
ODP Announcement 20-051:
Available Behavioral Specialists
Issued: April 30, 2020
Audience
Supports Coordination Organizations (SCOs) for the Consolidated, Person/Family
Directed Support, Community Living and Adult Autism waivers (ID/A and AAW)
Administrative Entities (AEs)
Purpose
To provide a list of agencies that are available to provide Behavioral Specialist services
remotely during this time of increased need as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Discussion
As Supports Coordinators (SCs) continue to conduct weekly well-being check-ins with
individuals, they may come across an increased need for behavioral supports. In order
to help meet potentially increasing demands, the Office of Developmental Programs
(ODP) conducted a survey of Behavioral Specialist agencies to identify which agencies
have capacity and availability to provide behavioral services remotely to individuals
receiving services through the ID/A waivers and/or AAW at this time. The results of the
survey are provided in the attached list of agencies by region and programs they serve.
SCs can utilize this resource and contact Behavioral Specialist agencies when the need
arises. The attached list includes the identified contact person and information for
available agencies.
