The Medical Assistance Provider Incentive Repository, also referred to as MAPIR, is a system application that is within PROMISe™. The application is the state-level information system for the Promoting Interoperability Program (Formerly known as the EHR incentive Program). MAPIR tracks and acts as a repository for information related to payment, applications, attestations, oversight functions, and interface with CMS’ National Level Repository.
The Promoting Interoperability Program (PIP) ends in 2021. MAPIR will allow providers to submit Program Years 2020 and 2021 applications at the same time. Currently, your previous application must be completed prior to submitting a new application. Due to time restraints with the sunset of the program, we will allow providers to submit their final 2021 application prior to their 2020 application being completed.
