The Pennsylvania Long-Term Care Commission (LTCC) ensures access to quality, affordable health care.

The commission focused on improving the current long-term care system, including identifying effective ways to provide better coordinated methods of administering long-term care programs and services and ensuring quality health care for older Pennsylvanians and individuals with disabilities.

The Commission believes that public input was critical to fulfilling its mission. Over the last year, the Commission convened a series of public input meetings throughout the commonwealth and invited the public to offer their input to assist the Commission in understanding the current long-term care system and recommending ways in which it can be improved.

The seven meetings were held in Harrisburg, Mercer, Allison Park, Williamsport, Blue Bell, Lords Valley and Philadelphia. Input from each public meeting was integral in shaping the final report.
